The owner, Mitch Benjamin, started with carryout while building the team for front and back of house. The restaurant sells classic barbecue dishes with a unique twist, such as sticky curly fries with honey beads. Meat Mitch plans to open fully with an outdoor patio soon, and the owner hopes to open a new location at the Kansas City International Airport terminal in 2023.
